Coastal Alabama Partnership is pleased to announce a new member of our team. Andrew Levert joins the CAP team as Vice President of Policy and Project Initiatives.
“I am pleased to welcome Andrew to our team and look forward to working with him to advocate for coastal Alabama throughout our region, state and in our nation’s capitol,” said Wiley Blankenship, President/CEO.
In this new role, Andrew will assist in the coordination of CAP’s five regional program initiatives – Policy & Planning, Insurance, Tourism, Seafood and Infrastructure. He will also manage and coordinate the RESTORE Grant for CAP’s Regional Planning Initiative and support Coastal 150 program policy and objectives.
“Andrew brings national legislative policy and planning experience to the Coastal Alabama team. I know Andrew will positively impact our organization, as well as, the entire coastal region,” said Britton Bonner, Chairman of the Board.
Andrew has spent many years on Capitol Hill working for U.S. Representative Jeff Landry and U.S. Senator David Vitter. Recently, he worked as the Director of Business Development and Client Relations for McDowell Knight Roedder & Sledge.
Andrew and his wife Lee Bender Levert live in Mobile with their two small children Meyer and Marshall.
