On Wednesday, May 3rd, members of the 2017 class of Coastal Civic Masters spent time in our Delta, thanks to Wild Native Tours. Over lunch, Chandra Wright with AL/MS Sea Grant Consortium shared ecotourism efforts throughout the region. Then, we heard from our regional destination management leaders, David Clark with Visit Mobile, Herb Malone with Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism and Ashley Jones-Davis with North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. The class learned about Visit Coastal Alabama, a program of the Regional Tourism Council sponsored by CAP. The day concluded with a presentation on entrepretourism by Scott Tindle, owner/operator of Gulf Coast Ducks and The Fort of Colonial Mobile.
