Exploring the Bayou & our Seafood Industry

On, Wednesday April 12, 2017, members of the 2017 Coastal Civic Masters class spent the morning touring Bayou la Batre and visiting seafood industry leaders. After lunch, catering by locally-owned Catalina restaurant, the class members heard from Dr. Bill Walton and Julian Stewart about efforts to start and develop the oyster farming industry.
